Purple

The Sky embraced her, refusing to let go,

while the Earth roared and trembled for her to come back.

The Cats stopped in their steps, waiting with bated breath,

for her Return.

She looked down, but didn’t want to go back,

back to the pain, the panic, the pressure

of being someone she could never be.

But, she knew she had to go,

return, not for her sake,

for the sake of those Cats.

As she tore away from the Sky,

making promises of a speedy Return,

she fell through the Clouds,

back to the Earth, back to the

place that had made her

Purple.
